Gillibrand Joins Bipartisan Senate Delegation In Visit To Poland And Germany

Senator Gillibrand Will Join Nine Fellow Senators to Meet With U.S. Military Leaders, NGOs, and Ukrainian Refugees In Poland

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is joining nine of her Senate colleagues in a bipartisan delegation visit to Poland and Germany this weekend.

“This strong, bipartisan delegation proves the Senate stands united in its support for Ukraine,” said Senator Gillibrand. “During our time in Poland and Germany, we will have the opportunity to gain greater insight into the U.S. and NATO response through engagements with top military leaders. We will return with a better understanding of how Congress can and should continue to support the Ukrainian people and our NATO allies, and see firsthand the heartbreaking humanitarian impact of Putin’s war of aggression.”

The delegation will be led by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA). Additionally, Gillibrand will be joined by Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Susan Collins (R-ME), John Cornyn (R-TX), Steve Daines (R-MT), Angus King (I-ME), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Jerry Moran (R-KS), and Jacky Rosen (D-NV).

Due to security concerns, further details regarding the bipartisan congressional delegation visit cannot be released at this time.
