Oct 15, 2021

Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand released a statement following delivery of the fourth Child Tax Credit payments:

“The American Rescue Plan’s expansion of the Child Tax Credit is the largest anti-poverty measure in decades, and since July, Congress has delivered more than $61 billion to families across the country. New York families have already received more than $3 billion in direct payments and the credit will continue serving more than 3 million children in New York under 18 years old. These payments are one of the greatest tools we have to help fight child poverty in this country and I am working hard to make this funding permanent.”
