Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, issued the following statement regarding the attack on U.S. service members by radical Iran-backed militant groups:
“Last night, three U.S. service members were killed and many wounded in an attack by radical Iran-backed militant groups. My heart is with the family and friends of the fallen in this terrible moment, and I am praying for the swift recovery of the wounded. We will never forget their sacrifice and commitment to the safety and security of the American people. The United States will ensure those behind this attack are brought to justice.”
