Today, in response to a federal judge’s order that the Trump administration refund billions of dollars that it took from U.S. consumers and businesses in the form of illegal tariffs, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement:
“The president must follow the law and refund the billions of dollars that he owes to the American people. Working families and small businesses are struggling, and they need relief from President Trump’s reckless tariff tax policies immediately.”
